Francesco Verio

Born into the profession, he attended the Art Institute and the Academy of Fine Arts (student of A. De Stefano) in Naples. From 1978 he began to exhibit in group exhibitions and in 1985 he held his first solo exhibition. From the 80’s he teaches Painting Disciplines in the Art Institutes and Art schools in Naples and suburbs. His production approaches to the figurative neapolitan painting’s style of the twentieth century and develops itself with more expressionists and symbolists accents. In December 2008 he was awarded of the title of “Academic” by the Academy of High Culture “Europe 2000”.

He has collaborated in the organization of some exhibits and the coordination of some catalogs.

He exposed with personal and group exhibitions in different art galleries including: Studio d’Arte 43, Mediterranea, Serio, Arte Contemporanea Studio, Diapason, Neoarte, Immagine Nea, MA, Spazio Arte, Le Muse, Accademia G. Gigante, Il ramo d’oro e L’Atelier di Napoli, La Boheme (Aversa), Helicon Art (Roma), La Bottega delle Arti di Mola (Bari), Galleria Cinquantasei di Bologna. He is present in various editions of Art Padua, Art Expo in Bari, Contemporary Forli Art, Expo Udine, Art Verona.

His works are in some important Italian museums and in several private collections.
